Repainting your home is a big decision, depending on the difference in colour. And one thing we recommend you never do is repaint over wallpaper. This can cause air bubbles underneath the wallpaper, problems later down the line.
If you’re going to paint, make sure the walls are prepared, and any details such as shelves should be removed, whilst wallpaper should be stripped completely. You should also lay newspaper on the carpet, and remove furniture from each room. This ensures that no drops of paint land on the floor or furniture leaving a permanent stain.
Painting your home’s interior can take time, especially if you are doing work by yourself, so get your friends and family involved, and you can end up with a fresh looking house in no time.
